Sunny by very windy day...

This weekend went by soooo fast.  It was a good day.  We lost both games but was sunny.  Not to mention windy then chilly.  I had to wait in the car to warm up.  Before we left for the game to day I sat at my desk and played with my stamp set For All You Do.  It came in my starter kit.

Gift Card, Money Holders and Carry Case...

This evening I wanted to make something different.  I ended up with different size money holders and or gift card holders along with a carry case... came out ok for my first try.

I also made these cute popsicle cards. So adorable!!

The knot keeps it shut... yeah I know, I still need help on my knot tying skills.

Another Money Holder

Hi Hi Again,  I made another money holder.  It's sort of the same as my 1st one, just a little fancier.
I'm trying to get it big enough to fit a gift certificate, movie tickets... etc.

My only issue with this card is I can't keep it close.  I may just have to use a glue dot before I give away....

Happy Thanksgiving!!

First of all HAPPY THANKSGIVING, may everyone feast with family and friends!  Then hit Black-Friday!! Lol

Anyway, while watching TV, I sat up and ran to my desk and this is what I ended up creating.....

Here I came up with a funky design a pinwheel... looks ok.

Instead of making a simple gift card holder, I made it a little longer and did a money holder with a 'belly' band.  Looks cute yeah!!  This is what I will be using for christmas... LOL
Hope they like it.

Stamp Club

Do you love stamping, scrapbooking, and crafting like I do?  Would you like to learn more and slowly add to your stamping collection?  I will be starting a Stamp Club starting this coming January 2011.   This is a great way to spread out your spending over 6 months and get free Hostess goodies and a free gift for purchasing with me!

What do you do!  You would commit to place a minimum of $25 order with me every month for 6 months.  You will be in a club with 5 other people who are placing the same minimum order.  Because these orders combined are at least $150, the order qualifies for Hostess Benefits, a Hostess Exclusive Level 1 stamp set (not available to purchase).

Every month 1 person during their commitment, you will receive the Hostess Benefits from the Club orders.

I will notify every one on when the orders are due as the time get closer.  Once we begin you will also get an e-mail reminding you to place your order.

So gather your friends and give me a shout.  You can reach me by email – stampinrhondaa@yahoo.com Look forward to hearing from you.

Excited!!

This past Tuesday, I finally signed up to be a Stampin Up Demonstrator.  I'm so excited!!  My starter kit was sent FedEx 'Next Day' over night service.  That was so awesome.  When I got home I opened my started kit.  There was alot of stuff, I must say!!  However, I still want more items..... go figure. LOL   I did try one of the stamp set I received.   I also tried a new 'Water Color' technique using the Stampin Up Blender Pen...

They are simple but pretty... don't ya think?

Winter Season Softball has begun.....

Today was a very long day at the park.  Fortunately it all paid off.  They won their 1st game and tied their 2nd.  That was an awesome game.  Great job ladies!!!  When we got home I sat down and made my first "Wreath" Christmas card.... came out pretty good.

The one on the left has a 'knot' type of bow.  It's still not FLAT, but I'm working on it.
The one on the right I did a 'flat' type of bow using small glue dots and added half-pearls.  The pearl gave a little fancy bling.  LOL

It's a rainy windy night...

Tonight was very windy and not to mention rainy.  I have been thinking lately on a baby 1st birthday card.  I came up with something but I don't like it.  I will need to keep on thinking.  I also made another gift card holder.... it came out soooooo nice. I just love it!!

Isn't it pretty.  Its tied closed.

Once untied, you start to see the suprise inside.

Here it comes...... please don't mind the Sam's card, I didn't have a gift card available. LOL

Tadaaa! Heres your fancy gift card holder for Christmas.

Hot Hot Hot Saturday...

Today is such a HOT day.  Had to run to the doctors for Harlee and couldn't wait to get back home.  I did 3 cards last night... they came out soooooo cute!  I just love them.

This card is from the "Top Note"  I used the Big Shot but kept the top portion uncut so it could open like a card.  This is another style I learned at a Stamp N Stack.  This is the closest I had to folowers.

Isn't this adorable!! Another "Top Note' die cut, which is now a little fancy purse.

Big Shot is here FINALLY!!!!

Can you believe it!  My Big Shot just arrived today.  I was so excited!  I've waited over 3 weeks for this item to come in.  Well, I'm at home and I didn't really get to use it.  I just made a die cut of a "Top Note"... and I love it.  I did pick up some discontinued 'whale' shapped punches from Stampin Up... and they work great.  I picked up a total of 3, a scallop circle, circle and one word punch.  I think these feel better then the newer flat punches... but the newer punches store better.  I did try and make a gift card holder..... one came out backwards.. LOL and the other one came out crooked and sidways.

This gift card opens backwards....

\
This one opens on the top and the wording is crooked.

Lost day, no creative ideas!

Today was a lost day as I call it.  I couldn't come up with anything!  I sat at my desk and nothing!!  After eating and cleaning, I sat at my desk again and this is what I got....

Ohhh, don't mind my pictures! They're all 'blown-out', thats why the background is showing up as a grey color.  It suppose to be white!   As soon as I get a light box, it will be much better!!

Thank You's

Well, tonight I was trying to relax, mostly because I think I may have pulled my back at work today.  Unfortunately, it hurts when I stand straight or move to quickly.... Ugh!  It feels better when I sit.  So I sat at my desk again and decided to try a technique I learned at a Stampin Up Stamp N Stack... I think thats what you call it... Well this time I did the technique but on the whole card not only half.  This is how it came out.
I think they are a little busy.....

Columbus Day Holiday

Today was a beautiful Columbus Day holiday.  I decided to stay in and relax.  I sat down at my desk flipped through some designer paper and this is what came out of it.  Some are so very simple and some using techniques that I learned.

I forgot one more picture.  I was trying a diamond technique using my crimper by Stampin Up.

My work space.

This is my current work space.  It's kind of small but functional (for now).  I continue to move things around especially when I'm sitting at my desk.  I have a feeling my desk is tooo small and I will need more work space.  I want a space for my cutters and my Big Show (which is on order) where I can just lay them out and use them freely.

Do you see my card holder on the wall?
I seen something like it but they used ribbon and pictures instead of using the yardstick and cards.
This is where I put my mistakes...
